If we can’t get to your windows from the ground, we will get to them from the roof. To access the windows of your building, we may be able to use transportable suspended equipment, known as a boatswain chair or CDA (controlled descent apparatus) system. This system consists of two lines: a lifeline that is connected to the boatswain chair using a descent device, and a safety line that is connected to the individual’s full body harness with a rope-grab and lanyard. This allows for Apex to perform projects that may difficult to institute a staging system and offer a more affordable option because of timed saved. All equipment used by Apex and its employees is OSHA/ANSI approved and is inspected on a regular basis to ensure the utmost safety.
